It’s become a phenomenon. Food trucks are everywhere. From the bright lights of New York City to the lush landscape of Portland, Oregon; food truck vendors are lining city blocks with obsessed foodies looking to sample the latest gourmet creation from up-and-coming mobile, chef superstars. The food-truck scene is different in every city. With a lower overhead and more sales than traditional restaurants, these culinary meals on wheels are here to stay. Although Boise’s food cart scene is still relatively new, it is well on its way to becoming a new force in the food cart industry. So, with its steady rise on our minds, we decided to examine other cities and give our ranking for the Top 10 Food Cart Cities in 2012.
